The ER703WP-4G-Outdoor is TP-Link's Omada 4G+ Cat6 gateway built to be mounted outside — on a wall, pole or roofline — as well as indoors, for sites where getting a fixed-line connection to the exact spot needed is impractical or too slow to install in time.
Unlike the ER701-5G Outdoor, which uses a 5G modem, this model runs on 4G+ Cat6 — a solid choice where 5G coverage isn't yet available or isn't needed, at a lower price point. Both are part of the same Omada SDN ecosystem and can sit on the same controller as your Omada switches and access points.
The box includes the antennas and mounting kit needed for a pole or wall install, so there's nothing extra to source.

If 5G coverage is confirmed and needed for throughput, choose the ER701-5G Outdoor; if 4G+ coverage is solid at the site, this model is a more cost-effective choice.
Can it be managed with my existing Omada switches and access points?
Yes, it's part of the Omada SDN range, so it can be added to an existing Omada controller alongside your switches and APs.
