The VX230v is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) DSL modem router with multiple connection options — the straightforward way to bring a home or small office on an xDSL line up to current-generation wireless. The modem is built in, so a single unit terminates the line, routes the traffic and broadcasts the Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi 6 lifts speed and efficiency for new devices while staying fully backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, so every existing laptop, phone and smart device keeps its place on the network. The box is UK-ready with an ADSL filter, DSL cable and Ethernet cable included. On a full-fibre line instead, the EX530v is the FTTH equivalent; the Archer VR1210v is the dual-band DSL alternative with VoIP.

Yes — the Wi-Fi 6 radio is fully backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, so legacy hardware connects exactly as before while new devices enjoy 802.11ax.
