Yealink T73U IP Phone (No PSU)

The T73U is the workhorse of Yealink's current mid-range: 12 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch backlit colour display, a USB port for headsets and call recording, and support for the EXP55 expansion module when reception needs a wall of busy-lamp keys. It replaces the old T4xU generation with a slimmer chassis and a quicker, more responsive UI.

Two details matter day-to-day: the Hall-switch hook keeps hang-ups silent in open offices, and the phone runs Linux 6.1 with TEE hardware encryption, which is increasingly asked about in security reviews. Headset users get proper integration too — Yealink headsets can be configured and updated from the phone's own screen, including wearing detection for automatic channel switching.

Is a power supply included?

No — this variant ships without a PSU. It is designed for PoE deployment; order the optional Yealink PSU if your switch does not provide PoE.

Can I add more programmable keys?

Yes — the T73U supports the Yealink EXP55 expansion module, which is the usual route for reception desks that monitor many extensions.

Does it work with hosted PBX platforms?

Yes — it is a standards-based SIP phone with auto-provisioning support on the mainstream hosted platforms. Tell us your provider and we will confirm before you order.

T73U or T73W?

Identical apart from wireless: the T73W adds built-in dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. If every desk is cabled and nobody uses Bluetooth headsets, the T73U saves you money per desk.
