The Vigor 2865L-5G is the connectivity insurance policy of the 2865 range: a VDSL2 (Superfast Fibre) and Gigabit Ethernet WAN router with built-in 5G/LTE and dual SIM slots, so a second mobile network can stand behind the first. For branch offices, retail sites and anywhere the connection simply must stay up, it combines multi-WAN load balancing and failover across fixed and mobile paths in one box.
Performance is business-class: up to 950 Mbps firewall throughput on the Ethernet WAN and up to 800 Mbps VPN throughput with IPsec acceleration, with 32 LAN-to-LAN and teleworker VPN tunnels plus 16 DrayTek SSL VPN or OpenVPN tunnels. Eight LAN subnets with port-based or 802.1q VLANs organise the site cleanly — pair it with a VigorSwitch G2100 and a VigorAP 962c to build out the LAN.
