The VigorAP 962c is a ceiling- or wall-mounted AX3000 mesh access point built for business and SOHO environments. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3 Gbps, so video calls, cloud applications and file transfers stay quick even with a room full of clients.
The 2.5Gb Ethernet port means the wired backhaul is not the bottleneck — pair it with a multi-gig PoE switch such as the VigorSwitch PQ1070x, whose 2.5GbE PoE+ ports power and connect it over a single cable. At the head of the network, a Vigor router such as the Vigor 2767ax completes an all-DrayTek setup.

How is it powered?
Over PoE, so a single Ethernet run to the ceiling carries both power and data. Feed it from a PoE switch such as the VigorSwitch PQ1070x — no power socket needed at the mounting point.
Do I need a 2.5GbE switch to use it?
No — the port also works with standard Gigabit switches. A 2.5GbE PoE switch simply lets the AX3000 wireless side breathe, which matters most with many concurrent users.
Is it suitable for home use?
