The Vigor 2865Lax-5G is the top wireless model of the 2865 range: a VDSL broadband router with built-in 5G mobile connectivity and Wi-Fi 6. One unit terminates the DSL line, keeps a 5G path on standby (or uses it as the primary connection), and serves the office over modern 802.11ax wireless.
It shares the 2865 series security-firewall platform, and ships ready to install — two detachable WLAN antennas, four detachable LTE antennas with 1 m extension bases, and wall-mounting fixings are all in the box. For the wired side of the network, add a VigorSwitch G2100, and extend coverage across larger floors with a VigorAP 962c.

Can 5G be my main connection?
Yes. The built-in 5G modem can serve as the primary WAN where fixed-line options are poor, or sit behind the VDSL line as an automatic backup.
What is included for the 5G antennas?
Four detachable LTE antennas plus four 1 m extension bases, so the antennas can be positioned away from the router for the strongest signal.
How is this different from the 2865L-5G?
Same platform, plus wireless: the Lax-5G adds built-in Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), where the L-5G is wired only. If access points will handle your Wi-Fi anyway, the L-5G saves money.
Is it wall-mountable?
Yes — screws and wall plugs ship in the box, along with a 2 m Cat 5e network cable and the UK power supply.
