The Fanvil X305 is a big-button IP phone designed for nursing homes, hospitals and other care settings where standard desk phones are simply too fiddly. Large, clearly legible keys and a 3.5-inch colour screen make it usable for residents with reduced dexterity or eyesight, without looking institutional.

It is properly specified underneath: 2 SIP lines, PoE, built-in dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, and support for 433MHz wireless call buttons — so a bedside pendant or wall button can raise an alert through the phone. How do the 433MHz wireless buttons work?

Compatible 433MHz buttons — bedside pendants or wall units — pair with the X305 so a resident can trigger a call or alert without reaching the phone. Tell us your alerting workflow and we will confirm the right button hardware.

Does it need an ethernet cable at the bedside?

Not necessarily: dual-band Wi-Fi is built in. On Wi-Fi the phone needs local power; on a cabled connection PoE powers it over the same wire.

Is it suitable for hospital cleaning regimes?

The X305 is designed for healthcare and care-home scenarios. For specific infection-control or cleaning-agent requirements, ask us and we will check the guidance for your environment before you standardise on it.

Will it work with our nurse-call or hosted phone system?

It is a standard SIP phone, so it registers to hosted platforms and on-premise PBXs; alerting integrations depend on your call system, which we are happy to scope with you.
