FAP-432FR-EFortinet FortiAP 432FR
List PriceThe Fortinet FortiAP 432FR is a ruggedised, UL Class 1 Division 2 (C1D2) certified Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point built for hazardous environments such as oil rigs, industrial manufacturing sites and transportation infrastructure. It is an enterprise-class indoor/outdoor/industrial AP with three radios and four spatial streams.
As a top-of-the-line Wi-Fi 6 access point it provides OFDMA, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port plus an additional 1 Gbps Ethernet port with PoE out, and 24/7 background scanning across both bands while the main radios keep serving 2.4GHz and 5GHz clients. The integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio supports beacon and locationing applications.
It is managed centrally through the integrated WLAN controller of a FortiGate security appliance or through the FortiLAN Cloud provisioning and management portal, and supports a versatile range of installation topologies to fit campus, branch and industrial deployments under Fortinet's Security Fabric.

Frequently asked questions
How is the FortiAP-432FR managed?
Either through the integrated WLAN controller built into any FortiGate security appliance, through the FortiLAN Cloud provisioning and management portal, or via a FortiSASE subscription for cloud-managed deployments — all under Fortinet's Security Fabric single-pane-of-glass console.
What's the difference between FortiCare Premium and Elite Support?
Both are FortiCare support subscriptions for the FortiAP-432FR, available in 1, 3 and 5-year terms. Elite Support sits above Premium as the higher tier — Fortinet also sells a Premium-to-Elite upgrade SKU, confirming Elite is a superset of Premium cover rather than a separate track.
What power and certifications does the FortiAP-432FR have?
It ships with an 802.3bt PoE injector (reset functionality included); running on 802.3at PoE instead puts the radios into a reduced-power 4x4 mode. Maximum power consumption is 25 W without PSE out and 37.9 W with PSE out. Certifications include FCC/ISED, CE Marked, UKCA Marked, AS/NZS, the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, UL/IEC/EN 62368-1, IEC 60529 (IP67), and UL Class 1 Division 2 (C1D2).
