FAP-443K-EFortinet FortiAP 443K
List PriceThe Fortinet FortiAP 443K is a high-performance, enterprise-class Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point with external antennas. It carries four radios and four spatial streams (4x4 MIMO), covers the 6 GHz band, and provides two multi-gigabit Ethernet ports. A dedicated scanning radio delivers 24/7 background scanning across all bands while the other three radios keep serving clients on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz simultaneously. An integrated BLE/ZigBee radio supports beacon and location-based applications.
FortiAP access points are managed centrally by the integrated WLAN controller on any FortiGate security appliance, or through the FortiLAN Cloud provisioning and management portal. Combining the wireless controller with the FortiGate appliance suits campus and branch deployments, and brings wired and wireless security together under Fortinet's Security Fabric single-pane-of-glass management.
The 443K supports a range of installation topologies, from a single building with multiple floors up to a corporate or education campus spanning several large buildings.

Frequently asked questions
How is the FortiAP 443K managed?
Centrally, by the integrated WLAN controller built into any FortiGate security appliance, or through the FortiLAN Cloud provisioning and management portal — bringing wired and wireless management into a single console under Fortinet's Security Fabric.
What's the difference between FortiCare Premium and Elite support?
Both are paid support tiers for the 443K, available in 1, 3 or 5 year terms. Elite is priced above Premium at every term length, reflecting an enhanced service level; full SLA details are confirmed at quotation.
What power does the 443K need?
It runs on 802.3bt PoE by default, or dual 802.3at PoE with current sharing across its two Ethernet ports. Maximum power consumption is 41.7W. Where PoE isn't available, a GPI-145 or SP-FAP250-PA-10 power supply can be used.
