Integration with a FortiGate provides single pane of glass management of the wired and wireless WAN connections and their security, reducing the total cost of ownership of the WAN and improving manageability of remote connections.
It can be sited indoors or outdoors, up to 100m from the FortiGate or network switch, to maximise 3G/4G LTE signal strength, and can be managed directly from the FortiGate or from FortiExtender Cloud, which offers hosted management of unlimited FortiExtenders worldwide.
