The Fortinet FortiExtender 201F is a compact indoor wireless WAN extender that adds resilient 3G/4G LTE broadband to a FortiGate deployment. Powered by a single internal Dual SIM CAT7 LTE modem (up to 300/150 Mbps down/up), it's built for point-of-sale, kiosk and branch sites that need a reliable backup or primary WAN path over cellular.

Integration with Fortinet SD-WAN and FortiGate appliances brings the 201F's cellular link under the same Web, Content and Device security controls as the rest of the Security Fabric, rather than leaving it as an unmanaged side connection.

A single PoE cable (802.3af/at) powers the unit and carries data over its five configurable GbE ports, while three external SMA antennas and a GPS/GNSS port keep signal strength and location awareness solid without lossy cabling or a limited-strength USB modem.
