The interface board (IF board) module for the Grandstream GDS37XX door entry range — the wiring board the door station's cables terminate on, listed in Grandstream's official GDS accessory line-up as a replacement for the board shipped with the unit.
The IF board is where a door installation actually happens. Power, door strike, exit button, alarm in/out and Wiegand connections all land on this board rather than on the door station itself — which is what makes a spare worth having. A board damaged by a miswire, a strike coil kick-back or a rushed refit is a £20 part, not a new door station; and on the indoor side it eases wiring during installation.
