Netgear ProSAFE FlexPoE 8 Port PoE+ Unmanaged Gigabit Switch (60W)

The Netgear GS108LP is an eight-port Gigabit PoE switch that installs anywhere: it ships with desktop feet, a wall-mount kit and a rack-mount kit, so the same unit works on a shelf, on a backboard or in a 19-inch cabinet. As an unmanaged switch it needs no setup at all — patch in your PoE cameras, access points or phones and they power up over the data cable.

Eight powered Gigabit ports is the sweet spot for a small premises: a couple of ceiling access points such as the TP-Link Omada EAP610, some CCTV and a phone or two, all fed from one tidy box. Need more ports later? The GS116LP doubles the count in the same family.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need configuring?

No. The GS108LP is unmanaged: connect your devices and they get Gigabit data and PoE power automatically. There is no web interface to look after.

Can it go in a rack?

Yes — unusually for an 8-port switch, both a rack-mount kit and a wall-mount kit are included, so it fits comms cabinets, backboards and shelves equally well.

What devices will it power?

Standards-based PoE endpoints: wireless access points, IP CCTV cameras and IP desk phones are the usual suspects. Send us your device list and we will double-check the combined draw before you order.

Is a power supply included?

Yes, the UK mains adapter is in the box together with both mounting kits and the quick start guide.
