Netgear 5 Port PoE Gigabit Unmanaged Switch (55.5W)

The Netgear GS305P takes the compact five-port Gigabit format of the GS305 and adds PoE, so the same small box that expands your network can also power the devices hanging off it. It is the neat answer for a camera above the door, an access point on the ceiling or an IP phone on the desk — one cable each for power and data, and no configuration whatsoever.

The 48V mains adapter and a wall-mount kit ship in the box, so it installs cleanly next to the router or on a backboard. Team it with a PoE-powered access point such as the TP-Link EAP225; if you would like VLANs and traffic control on top, the GS305EP adds web management to the same footprint.

Does it need any configuration?

No — the GS305P is unmanaged. Plug it in, connect your devices and PoE endpoints power up automatically over their network cables.

What sort of devices can it power?

Standards-based PoE devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and IP desk phones. If you are unsure whether your devices' combined draw fits, send us the model numbers and we will check before you order.

Is the power supply included?

Yes — a 48V mains adapter is in the box along with the wall-mount kit and quick start guide.

GS305P or GS305EP?

Choose the GS305P for simple plug-and-play PoE. Choose the GS305EP if you also want web management — VLANs, QoS and per-port control — in the same compact format.
