The Snom D385 is the flagship of the 3-series and the phone to put on desks that live on the phone all day — reception, dispatch, PA desks. Its defining feature is the SmartScreen: a second display alongside the function keys that labels them electronically, so paper inserts and re-labelling after every extension change are gone for good.
The main 4.3-inch colour TFT tilts to suit the user and carries call lists, directories and function status. Below it in the range, the D335 offers much of the same engineering without the SmartScreen for standard desks. German-engineered, centrally provisioned, and shipped without a PSU — plan for PoE.

Frequently asked questions
Does the D385 run on PoE?
Yes — IEEE 802.3af PoE. With a PoE switch, one cable powers and connects the phone.
Is a power supply in the box?
No — "(No PSU)" is accurate. Add a compatible mains adapter to the order if you do not run PoE.
What does SmartScreen actually save me?
Time and errors. Key labels are drawn on a second display and update automatically from provisioning, so extension changes never mean printing paper inserts again — worth real money across a large estate.
Will it work with my hosted PBX?
Yes — the D385 is a standards-based SIP phone supported by mainstream hosted platforms. We will confirm your platform's provisioning template before dispatch.
