The Snom D862 is the upper-mid model in the D8xx series and, for many buyers, its sweet spot: the same 5-inch screen size as the executive D865, on a hinge that tilts through 40 degrees so it reads correctly whatever the desk lighting — without paying for WiFi and Bluetooth you may not use on a cabled desk.
Eight freely programmable function keys carry speed dials and call groups, expanding to 28 assignments across four pages. Below it, the D812 makes the budget case; above it, the D865 adds wireless everything. No PSU is included — PoE is the intended power path.

Frequently asked questions
Does the D862 run on PoE?
Yes — PoE over the gigabit port is the normal deployment.
Is there a power supply in the box?
No — "no PSU" means exactly that. Add a compatible adapter to the order for non-PoE desks.
D862 or D865?
Same screen size; the D865 adds the built-in dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth and two extra keys. On a cabled desk with wired or USB headsets, the D862 does the job for less.
Is it supported on hosted platforms?
Yes — the D8xx family is standards-based SIP with provisioning templates on the mainstream hosted PBXs. We will check yours before dispatch.
