The Snom M500 is a dual-cell DECT base station for medium-sized offices and shops: two base stations form a DECT cell supporting up to 16 phones and 16 parallel calls. It is the hub of Snom's M5xx series, pairing with the robust M55 handset, the economical M53, the rugged IP67 M56 and even the wireless M58 DECT desk phone for cable-free office workplaces.

A distinguishing feature is Snom's unique Shared Call Emulation, which enables call sharing across several lines: calls can be monitored, accepted, held and retrieved, and picked up via six LED function keys across all registered phones — system-style teamworking without a system phone PBX.
