SG3452XPTP-Link Omada SG3452XP L2+ PoE Switch
The Omada SG3452XP is the high-density PoE edge switch for networks that have outgrown gigabit uplinks: 48 Gigabit 802.3af/at PoE+ ports for devices, four 10 Gbps SFP+ slots for the backbone, and a 500 W PoE budget with up to 30 W available per port.
It suits campus LANs and multi-floor offices where dozens of access points such as the EAP670 or EAP660 HD hang off each floor switch and traffic aggregates over 10G fibre. Under an Omada controller like the OC300, the whole estate is cloud-managed from one dashboard.
Key features
- 48 × Gigabit 802.3af/at PoE+ ports with up to 30 W output per port.
- 500 W total PoE budget for dense AP, camera and phone deployments.
- 4 × 10 Gbps SFP+ slots so uplinks never bottleneck the edge.
- Omada cloud management via web or app, plus standalone web, CLI, SNMP and RMON.
- L2+ feature set — static routing, VLAN, ACL, QoS, IGMP Snooping, OAM and DDM.
- ERPS ring protection for rapid recovery in ring topologies.
- Durable metal, rack-mountable chassis with rackmount kit included.
Works with
- TP-Link EAP660 HD — high-density Wi-Fi 6 AP for its PoE+ ports
- TP-Link Omada OC300 controller for centralised management
- TP-Link SG3452P — the Gigabit-uplink sibling with 384 W budget
- All network switches
- All networking
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from the SG3452P?
Uplinks and power: the SG3452XP has four 10G SFP+ slots and a 500 W PoE budget, where the SG3452P has Gigabit SFP slots and 384 W. Choose the XP when the backbone is (or will be) 10G.
Do I need an Omada controller?
No — it manages standalone via web, CLI, SNMP and RMON. An Omada controller is optional and unifies the network under one cloud dashboard.
Can every port deliver 30 W at once?
Each port can deliver up to 30 W, but the switch shares a 500 W total budget — plan the deployment against your devices' actual draw.
What is in the box?
