The EAP610-Outdoor brings Wi-Fi 6 to gardens, terraces, courtyards and yards, with dual-band speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps and the efficiency gains of OFDMA and MU-MIMO for busy outdoor areas. A dedicated high-power amplifier and professional antennas stretch the coverage, all inside an IP67 weatherproof enclosure.

Omada Mesh lets it link wirelessly to other Omada access points — including its indoor counterpart, the EAP610 ceiling AP — so coverage extends without trenching new cable, and fast roaming keeps devices streaming as users move about the property. Power it with the included passive PoE adapter, or run it from a PoE switch such as the Omada SG2210P and manage everything centrally through Omada SDN.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a PoE switch to run it?

No — a passive PoE adapter and power cord come in the box, so it can be powered from a mains socket at the cable's head end. A PoE switch just makes multi-AP installs tidier.

Can it join my indoor Omada network?

Yes — it integrates into Omada SDN alongside indoor EAPs, and Omada Mesh can link it to them wirelessly where cabling is impractical.

Is the weatherproofing sorted in the box?

Yes — waterproof kits and a waterproof antenna are included along with the mounting kits, so the connections can be sealed properly on day one.
