Yealink CP965 Touch Sensitive HD IP Conference Phone (POE only)

The CP965 is the flagship of Yealink's conference phone range, designed for medium and large meeting rooms. Thirteen built-in microphones give it the pickup that big tables demand, and for genuinely long rooms it cascades: up to three additional CP units connect in a star arrangement for synchronised pickup and playback down the table.

It runs Android 9.0 with a fingerprint-proof touch screen, so controlling a meeting is as obvious as using a tablet. Bluetooth and USB connections let it serve as the audio device for hybrid UC meetings from a laptop or mobile, on top of its native SIP conferencing.

Note the title: this model is PoE only — there is no mains PSU option, so the meeting room needs a PoE-capable network port. For smaller rooms the CP925 (7 mics) or the wireless CP935W will be the better fit.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it say PoE only?

Because that is how it powers — there is no PSU option for this model. Make sure the room's network port is served by a PoE switch or injector before installation day.

How large a room can it cover?

Medium and large conference rooms on its own 13 microphones; for very long boardroom tables you can cascade up to three more CP units in a star layout for synchronised pickup and playback.

Can we use it with Teams or Zoom?

Yes — connect a laptop or mobile via USB or Bluetooth and the CP965 acts as the room's microphone and speaker for any UC platform, alongside its native SIP registration.

Is it fiddly for visitors to use?

No — the Android touch interface is the most self-explanatory in the CP range. Starting, muting and adding parties are all on-screen actions.
