The CP935W removes the two cables that make conference phones awkward: power and network. With a built-in battery and Wi-Fi it registers its SIP account wirelessly, so it can live on the meeting table — or move between rooms — with nothing trailing across the floor.

If the room has structured cabling and you would rather not manage charging, the wired CP925 costs less; for large rooms the CP965 is the one.

By its built-in rechargeable battery — that is the point of the W. Charge it between meetings and it runs completely cable-free on the table.

How does it connect without a network cable?

It registers its SIP account over Wi-Fi. It can also work as a Bluetooth/USB speakerphone for a laptop or mobile running Teams, Zoom or similar.

Can it cover a long boardroom table?

Pair it with the Yealink CPW25 Bluetooth wireless microphone to extend pickup range. For genuinely large rooms, the CP965 with 13 microphones is the better starting point.

Is it tied to one meeting room?

No — with no cables it is easy to move between huddle rooms, which is how many customers justify it: one good conference phone shared across several small rooms.
