Yealink SIP VP59 Video Phone - Requires POE or 12V PSU

The VP59 is Yealink's flagship smart video phone, built for executives and teleworkers who want face-to-face calls from a desk phone rather than a laptop. The eight-inch LCD touch screen gives a smartphone-like experience, and because it runs Android 7.1 it supports third-party applications for business customisation, including door-phone integration.

Connectivity is unusually complete: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and HDMI output so the video call or content can go to a larger display. Add the Yealink DD10K DECT USB dongle and the VP59 becomes a corded-cordless base supporting up to four DECT handsets — handy for a home office or small suite.

It is the only video desk phone in this Yealink import; if the requirement is voice-only executive desks, compare the T87W or T88W. Note the title: it needs PoE or a 12V PSU — check which you have before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

How is it powered?

PoE or a 12V Yealink PSU — one of the two is required, and a PSU is not bundled. If your switch has no PoE budget spare, order the 12V power supply with the phone.

Can the other side be a normal phone?

Yes — video runs when both ends support it; otherwise calls proceed as standard SIP voice calls. It registers to your PBX like any other Yealink SIP phone.

Does it work as a video intercom monitor?

It supports DoorPhone features and third-party Android applications, so it is commonly paired with compatible SIP door entry systems. Ask us to confirm your specific door intercom model.

Can I add cordless handsets?

Yes — with the Yealink DD10K DECT USB dongle the VP59 supports up to four DECT handsets, giving you a corded-cordless setup from one desk phone.
