Yealink T87W IP Phone (No PSU)

The T87W is the touch-screen model of Yealink's Prime Business T8x range: a 7-inch multi-point touch screen on an adjustable hinge, so the user finds a comfortable angle and then drives everything with a tap. For executives and heavy phone users it is the most intuitive non-Android phone Yealink makes.

Audio is the other half of the pitch — ultra-HD sound with broadband codecs plus Yealink's self-developed AI noise cancellation, which keeps open-plan background noise out of the call. Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 handle uncabled desks and direct headset pairing, and Yealink headsets can be configured and upgraded from the screen, with wearing detection for automatic channel switching.

The T85W offers the same platform with a 5.5-inch non-touch screen for less; the Android 13-based T88W is the step up if you want apps and a smartphone-style UI. As usual for this import, no PSU is included — plan around PoE.

Frequently asked questions

Is a power supply included?

No — this variant ships without a PSU. Use a PoE switch port, or order the optional Yealink PSU for desks without PoE (and for any Wi-Fi-only positions).

T87W or T88W?

The T87W runs Yealink's own phone firmware — simpler, locked-down, nothing to manage. The T88W runs Android 13 with a smartphone-style UI and app flexibility. For most PBX estates the T87W is the easier phone to support; choose the T88W when the extra platform is actually wanted.

Does it support Bluetooth headsets directly?

Yes — Bluetooth 5.0 is built in, no dongle needed. Yealink headsets also get on-screen configuration, firmware updates and wearing detection.

Will it work with my hosted PBX?

Yes — it is a standards-based SIP phone; we will confirm auto-provisioning support with your specific hosted provider before you order.
