The T88W is Yealink's modern Android flagship for the desk: a 7-inch capacitive colour touch screen on an adjustable angle, running Android 13 with a smartphone-like interface for calls, contacts and productivity features. It is aimed at executives and office workers who have outgrown button-driven phones.

Two things separate it from cheaper touch phones. First, audio: AI-enhanced noise cancellation, acoustic shielding and a 3W speaker keep calls clear in open-plan and noisy environments. Second, security: Yealink's "Three Rings of Security" architecture brings secure boot, firmware encryption, TLS 1.3, WPA3 and a trusted execution environment — the sort of checklist that gets a phone through IT security review.

Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in, it takes Yealink Bluetooth handsets, and it supports up to three expansion modules. This is the wired-handset version — the T88W Pro adds the wireless Bluetooth handset receiver, and the T88V Pro tops the range. No PSU is included; PoE is the standard way to power it.

Frequently asked questions

Is a power supply included?

No — the No PSU variant ships without one. Power it from a PoE switch port, or order the appropriate Yealink PSU separately for non-PoE desks.

What is the difference between T88W and T88W Pro?

The handset. The T88W has a wired handset; the T88W Pro ships with the wireless Bluetooth handset receiver so you can walk while you talk. Otherwise they share the same 7-inch Android 13 platform.

Can I add expansion modules?

Yes — the T88 series supports up to three expansion modules, so it scales to reception and operator positions.

Does Android mean it needs more IT management?

It is a managed, purpose-built Android 13 build with Yealink's security architecture (secure boot, firmware encryption, TEE), not an open tablet. It behaves like a desk phone with a richer UI, and provisions like other Yealink SIP phones.
