Yealink T85W IP Phone (No PSU)

The T85W is the non-touch model in Yealink's Prime Business T8x range, built for busy executives and professionals. Its 5.5-inch colour LCD tilts to a comfortable viewing angle, and Yealink's own AI noise cancellation scrubs background chatter out of calls — genuinely useful in open-plan offices.

Dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in, so it deploys on uncabled desks and pairs Bluetooth headsets directly. Under the hood it runs Linux 6.1 with a TEE hardware encryption solution, and like the newer Yealink ranges it manages compatible headsets — configuration, upgrades, wearing detection — from its own screen.

If the user would rather tap than press, the T87W is the 7-inch touch-screen sibling; if the budget is tighter, the T74W gives you the wireless package on the mid-range platform. No PSU in the box — PoE is the assumed power source.

Frequently asked questions

Is a power supply included?

No — the No PSU variant ships without one. Run it on PoE, or add the optional Yealink PSU; remember Wi-Fi-only desks always need the PSU.

What does the AI noise cancellation actually do?

It is Yealink's self-developed processing that suppresses background noise on your side of the call — keyboards, colleagues, office hum — so the far end hears you, not the room.

Do Bluetooth headsets pair without a dongle?

Yes — Bluetooth 5.0 is built in. Yealink headsets can additionally be configured and firmware-updated from the phone's LCD.

Is it compatible with hosted platforms?

Yes — it is a standards-based SIP phone; the T8x series is rolling through certification with the mainstream hosted providers. We will confirm provisioning support for your platform first.
