The Grandstream GXV3350 is a 16-line Android video desk phone with a 5-inch 1280 × 720 capacitive touchscreen and a built-in megapixel camera for 720p HD video calling. Behind it sits a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.

It is the compact one in the GXV range. A 5-inch screen keeps the footprint close to an ordinary desk phone while still giving a real touch interface and a usable video window — which suits a normal desk far better than an 8-inch unit that dominates it.

Buy it as a video phone, not as an Android tablet. It runs Android 7.0, so the app store selection is limited and platform updates come from Grandstream rather than Google. Frequently asked questions

Can I run Teams or Zoom on it?

Do not buy it for that. It runs Android 7.0 and is not a certified Teams or Zoom room device — app availability and behaviour are limited. Its video is designed for Grandstream endpoints and the UCM Wave platform.

Does Android 7.0 matter?

For the phone functions, no — they are Grandstream's own and fully supported. It matters if you expected to install modern Android apps, which is why we would rather you knew before ordering than after.

Do I really need 16 lines?

Almost certainly not. It is generous headroom rather than a selling point — the reasons to choose this phone are the screen, the camera and the touch interface.

Can it see the door camera?

Yes. With a Grandstream GDS door station it shows the caller and opens the door from the screen, which is a common reason it appears on reception desks.

How is it powered?

PoE over one of its two Gigabit ports, so a single cable does power and data and a PC can share the drop.

Which size should I choose?

5-inch here, 7-inch on the GXV3370, 8-inch on the GXV3380. Pick by how much desk you are willing to give up — the phone and video functions are comparable.
