Netgear ProSAFE FlexPoE 16 Port PoE+ Gigabit Unmanaged Switch (183W)

The Netgear GS116PP is the high-power member of the 16-port GS116 desktop switch family: sixteen Gigabit ports with PoE+ delivery for the installs where the standard GS116LP runs out of headroom. It keeps the same unmanaged, plug-and-play character — patch a device in and it gets data and power over the one cable, with nothing to configure.

That extra power capacity matters when the switch is feeding hungrier endpoints — Wi-Fi 6 access points such as the TP-Link EAP650, PTZ cameras or multiple desk phones at once. Both UK and EU power supplies are in the box along with mounting plates, so one SKU covers installs on either side of the Channel.

How is the GS116PP different from the GS116LP?

Both are 16-port Gigabit unmanaged PoE switches. The PP is the higher-power version, giving you more PoE budget to play with — the safer choice when the switch will feed several higher-draw PoE+ devices such as modern access points or PTZ cameras.

Does it need any configuration?

No. It is unmanaged and fully plug and play: there is no web interface and nothing to set up, which keeps installation quick and support simple.

Is a power supply included?

Yes — unusually, both a UK and an EU power supply ship in the box, together with mounting plates for wall installation.

What kinds of device can it power?
