The Poly Edge E220 adds two things to the entry-level E100 that many users will actually notice: four line keys instead of two, and built-in Bluetooth — which means wireless headsets and mobile phone pairing on a compact, keenly priced desk phone.

Like the rest of the Edge E series it is open SIP, so it belongs on hosted PBX platforms, and it carries the family traits: Poly's noise reduction, text-to-speech and antimicrobial surface protection. No PSU is included — it is built to run on PoE.

Two useful things: wireless headsets pair directly with no USB dongle, and you can pair a mobile so calls to it can be taken on the desk phone's superior audio.

Is there a power supply in the box?

No — the E220 ships without a PSU and is designed for PoE. Add the matching Poly power adapter to your order if the desk has no PoE port.

Does it work with hosted PBX platforms?

Yes, the Edge E series is open SIP and certified against mainstream hosted platforms; we can verify your specific provider before shipping.

E220 or E300?

Pick by keys and headset habits: the E220 gives you Bluetooth on four line keys; the E300 gives eight line keys without Bluetooth. Heavy multi-line users should also look at the E450.
