Frequently asked questions

My phone supports PoE — do I need this?

Only where there is no PoE at the mounting position. That is a common situation for video phones, which often go on walls and in rooms rather than on cabled desks.

Can I use any adapter of the same size?

Better not to. Voltage and polarity differ across the range, and a video phone is an expensive thing to risk for the sake of a couple of pounds.

Does it fit the GXV3450 or GXV3480?

This is the listed part for the GXV3275, GXV3240, GXV3370 and GXV3380. The newer models may take a different supply — send us the model number and we will confirm before you order.
