This is the white edition of the Snom D717 — the same professional entry-level 7-series desk phone, in a finish that suits front-of-house desks, clinics, hospitality front desks and design-led offices where black electronics look wrong. Functionally it is identical to the black D717.
You get the high-resolution colour display that leads its price segment, Snom's innovative brightness and proximity sensor, and the German engineering the D-series is known for. It ships without a power supply, so it is at its best on PoE cabling.

Frequently asked questions
Is the white model functionally different from the black D717?
No — housing colour only. Same display, sensor, audio and provisioning.
Does it support PoE, and is a PSU included?
PoE yes (IEEE 802.3af); PSU no. "(No PSU)" is literal — order a mains adapter separately if you have no PoE switch.
Will it work with my hosted PBX?
Yes — standards-based SIP with provisioning support across the mainstream hosted platforms. We will check yours before shipping.
Does the white finish stay presentable?
It is a hard-wearing office-grade plastic that wipes clean — sensible for reception desks, though as with any white product, keep marker pens away.
