The TP-Link LS108GP is the eight-port Gigabit model in the LiteWave PoE family — a no-configuration desktop switch that automatically detects and powers any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant device. Data and electrical power share the same cable, so you can install kit where the network needs it rather than where the sockets happen to be.

Eight Gigabit ports make it a sensible hub for a small office or retail unit: power ceiling access points such as the Omada EAP610, door cameras and desk phones from a single quiet box. For lighter jobs the LS105GP covers five ports; the LS1210GP adds headroom above.

None. It is an unmanaged switch: connect your devices and it detects and powers compliant PoE equipment automatically.

What can I power from it?

Any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant powered device — wireless access points, IP cameras, IP phones and similar. Standard non-PoE devices work on the same ports for data only.

Is the power supply in the box?

Yes — it ships with a power adapter, installation guide and rubber feet.

When would I choose a managed switch instead?

Choose a smart switch such as the SG108PE when you need VLANs, QoS or monitoring; stay with the LS108GP for straightforward power-and-connect jobs.
