The TP-Link SG1008P (TL-SG1008P) pairs eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports with PoE on ports 1–4, giving small offices four powered connections for access points, IP cameras or IP phones plus four full-speed data ports for PCs, printers and the router uplink. The 802.3af/at-compliant PoE ports share a 64 W total budget.
As an unmanaged switch there is nothing to configure — plug it in and it works — and the desktop/wall-mountable design (with a rackmount kit also in the box) fits it into almost any corner of a site. Build quality and performance are what you would expect from TP-Link's mainstream business range.
If four powered ports is not enough, the SG1210MP offers eight PoE ports; for simple web management on top, look at the Easy Smart SG108PE.

Which ports supply PoE?
Ports 1 to 4 support 802.3af/at PoE with a shared 64 W budget; ports 5 to 8 are data-only Gigabit ports.
Managed or unmanaged — which do I need?
The SG1008P is unmanaged: ideal when you just need ports and power with zero setup. If you want VLANs, QoS or port monitoring, choose an Easy Smart or Omada model instead.
Can it go in a rack?
Yes — although it is desktop/wall-mountable by design, a rackmount kit is included in the box for cabinet installs.
Does it need a separate power supply?
No — it ships with a UK power cord; there is no external adapter to hide away.
