SL1311MPTP-Link SL1311MP 8 Port Unmanaged Switch
The TL-SL1311MP is a no-configuration PoE switch for small installations: eight 10/100 Mbps PoE ports for powered devices, two 1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and one SFP slot for uplinks. Plug it in and it works — there is nothing to set up.
Its PoE ports automatically detect and power any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant device, sending electricity and data down the same cable. That lets you mount access points, IP cameras and IP phones exactly where they are needed — ceilings, entrances, external walls — without running mains power to them. For bigger camera estates, step up to the 24-port SL1226P.

Frequently asked questions
Which devices can it power?
Any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant powered device — typical access points, IP cameras and IP phones. The switch detects compliant devices automatically and only supplies power where it is safe to do so.
Do I need to configure anything?
No. It is an unmanaged switch: connect the uplink and your devices and it simply runs.
Are 10/100 ports a problem?
Not for the devices this switch is aimed at — cameras and phones use a fraction of 100 Mbps. The gigabit RJ45 ports and SFP slot carry the combined traffic upstream.
Can I use fibre for the uplink?
Yes — the SFP slot accepts a fibre module, useful when the switch sits far from the comms room.
