Does it work with a normal SIP PBX?

It is built and sold as a Microsoft Teams phone. If your telephony is a standard SIP hosted PBX, pick from the Yealink T3x or T7x ranges instead — we are happy to advise.

What licensing does it need?

A Microsoft Teams account with an appropriate phone/shared device licence, depending on whether it is a personal or common-area phone. We can talk you through the options for common-area deployments.

Is it PoE powered?

Yes, PoE is supported — the usual way to deploy Teams phones in shared spaces. Check PSU requirements with us if the location has no PoE.

How is it managed?

Through the Microsoft Teams admin center, like your other certified Teams devices — firmware, sign-in and policies are handled centrally.
