The MP54 E2 is the standard-desk phone of Yealink's refreshed Teams range. Based on Android 13, the second-edition hardware responds noticeably faster than the original MP54, and the dedicated Teams button drops the user straight into calls, calendar and voicemail. It is the sensible default for office workers, front desks and common areas.

Call quality comes from Yealink's Optima HD Voice with Noise Proof technology, which keeps open-plan background noise out of the call — a real difference on reception desks. The 4-inch touch screen keeps interactions quick without the cost of the larger models.

Scale up the same estate with the 7-inch MP56 E2 for busier desks and the MP58WH E2 with cordless handset for executives; scale down to the MP52 E2 for lobbies and shared spaces.

Is this a SIP phone I can use with my hosted PBX?

No — the MP54 E2 is built for Microsoft Teams telephony. For a standard SIP hosted PBX, look at the Yealink T3x or T7x ranges; we can recommend the equivalent desk spec.

What is different about Version 2 (E2)?

Updated hardware running Android 13 with a faster response speed. For new Teams rollouts the E2 is the generation to standardise on.

Does it need a power supply?

It supports PoE, which is the tidiest option. If the desk has no PoE, order the appropriate Yealink PSU alongside — tell us and we will add it to the quote.

Can I use a headset with it?
