The MP56 E2 is the big-screen workhorse of Yealink's Version 2 Teams range and the direct replacement for the old T56A-TEAMS. Its 7-inch capacitive touch screen shows the full Teams calling experience — calendar, meetings, voicemail, people — without squinting, and the Android 13 E2 hardware makes it noticeably quicker than the phones it replaces.

Yealink's Optima HD voice, a magnetic handset that seats itself properly every time, a dedicated Teams button and Bluetooth for headset pairing round out a phone that is easy to live with on a busy desk. If you are refreshing T56A/MP56 gen-1 estates, this is the like-for-like order.

Executives who want to roam while talking should look at the MP58WH E2 with its cordless Bluetooth handset; standard desks are well served by the cheaper MP54 E2. No PSU is included with this variant — PoE is the assumed power.

Is a power supply included?

No — this No PSU variant ships without one. Use a PoE port, or order the appropriate Yealink PSU separately for non-PoE desks.

Can it run a normal SIP extension instead of Teams?

It is a Teams-tailored device and that is how we supply it. For standard SIP hosted PBX estates, the T7x range is the right choice — ask us for the equivalent model.

We have T56A-TEAMS units — is this the replacement?

Yes. The MP56 E2 replaces the T56A-TEAMS (and the first-generation MP56), with Android 13 and faster hardware. It slots into the same role in the Teams admin center.

Do Bluetooth headsets work with it?

Yes — Bluetooth is built in for headset pairing, alongside wired headset support.
