DrayTek Vigor 2136ax

The Vigor 2136ax is the wireless member of DrayTek's Vigor 2136 router series, carrying the ax suffix that denotes built-in Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). It is aimed at home offices and smaller business sites that want DrayTek's business-grade routing with modern wireless in a single box.

Like the rest of the Vigor range it is designed to anchor a wider DrayTek network — add a VigorAP 805 to extend Wi-Fi 6 coverage into further rooms, and a compact VigorSwitch G1080 where more wired ports are needed.

Key features

• Business-grade Vigor routing — DrayTek's router platform for home-worker and small-office connections.

Frequently asked questions

What does the "ax" in the name mean?

It is DrayTek's designation for models with built-in Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless, as used across the Vigor router range.

Who is this router for?

Home workers and smaller offices that want DrayTek reliability with wireless built in, rather than running a separate access point.

Can I extend the Wi-Fi later?

Yes — add VigorAP access points to grow coverage; they sit naturally alongside a Vigor router on the same network.

Can you confirm the full specification?

Yes — call or email us and we will run through the current datasheet, including WAN options and VPN capability, before you order.
