DrayTek Vigorswitch P2282X 24 Gb Ports + 4 10Gbps Ports Switch with PoE+ (Replaces the P2280X)

The VigorSwitch P2282X is the PoE model at the top of DrayTek's 2282-class switching range — a rack-mount business switch that powers the edge of the network as well as connecting it. Access points, IP phones and cameras all run from a single cable per device, fed from the comms cabinet.

It ships with rack-mount brackets, a console cable for direct management and a UK IEC power lead. As part of the DrayTek ecosystem it can be controlled by routers such as the Vigor 2928 and managed at scale through VigorACS. If nothing needs powering, the non-PoE VigorSwitch G2282X is the economical alternative. Full port and PoE-budget details are available on request.

P2282X or G2282X — which do I need?

They are siblings in the same switch class: the P2282X adds Power over Ethernet for APs, phones and cameras; the G2282X is data-only. If PoE devices are on the plan — now or later — buy the P.

What is the PoE budget?

Contact us with your device list and we will confirm the P2282X's per-port and total PoE budget against the load before you order.

Is it rack-mountable?

Yes — rack-mount brackets are included, together with a console cable and UK IEC power lead.

Can it be managed centrally?

Yes — compatible Vigor routers include a VigorSwitch controller, and VigorACS provides central management across a DrayTek estate.
