The Grandstream IPVT10 is an on-premises video conferencing server: the meetings, the recordings and every participant's data run on a box in your rack, not in someone else's cloud.
That is the entire buying decision. Cloud meeting services are easier; the IPVT10 exists for the organisations that are not allowed easy — legal, finance, healthcare, government and anyone whose security policy says meeting traffic stays inside the building. The server hosts the meetings; GVC room endpoints, browsers via WebRTC and the IPVideoTalk apps all join as first-class participants.
Capacity is set by licence rather than hardware: tiers from 35 to 300 participants apply to the same server, so the platform grows by licence change, not forklift.
