The ER707-M2 is the Omada VPN gateway for full-fibre sites: a 2.5G RJ45 WAN port and a second 2.5G WAN/LAN port mean gigabit-plus broadband is not throttled at the router, while a Gigabit SFP slot, four Gigabit RJ45 WAN/LAN ports and a USB 2.0 port (storage or LTE) fill out the connectivity. A dedicated dual-core CPU and 1GB of DDR4 sustain up to 500,000 concurrent connections.
VPN cover is comprehensive — SSL VPN, GRE, OpenVPN, IPSec, PPTP, L2TP and L2TP over IPSec — with load balancing, bandwidth control and access control for day-to-day traffic discipline. It rack mounts with the included brackets and slots into Omada SDN behind an OC200 controller, feeding a PoE switch such as the SG2428P. If your WAN is a straight gigabit line, the ER7206 costs less.

Why do the 2.5G ports matter?
UK full-fibre products now exceed 1 Gbps; a router with only Gigabit WAN caps the service you pay for. The ER707-M2's 2.5G ports remove that ceiling.
Does it have Wi-Fi?
No — it is a wired gateway. Pair it with Omada access points, managed together under one controller, for the wireless layer.
Can it rack mount?
Yes — rack-mount brackets and screws are included, along with a UK PSU and rubber feet for desktop use.
What VPN options does it support?
SSL VPN, GRE, OpenVPN, IPSec, PPTP, L2TP and L2TP over IPSec — flexible enough for site-to-site and remote-access designs of most shapes.
