The UCM RemoteConnect SOHO plan gives an on-site UCM6300-series PBX up to 20 remote users and 4 concurrent remote sessions — home and mobile workers on the office phone system, with none of the firewall surgery.

RemoteConnect solves the problem every on-prem PBX has: the people who are not on site. Grandstream's cloud handles NAT traversal and secure connectivity, so remote staff simply sign into Wave on a laptop or mobile — or register a home desk phone — and they are an extension again. No VPN, no port forwarding, no exposed PBX.

Frequently asked questions

RemoteConnect or CloudUCM?

RemoteConnect assumes you own a UCM appliance and adds secure remote access to it. CloudUCM replaces the appliance entirely with a hosted PBX. Own a UCM6300: this. No PBX yet: CloudUCM.

What counts as a concurrent session?

Remote voice/video calls or meeting joins happening at the same moment through the cloud. Office-to-office calls on the LAN do not touch the allowance — only the remote legs do.

Do remote users need special setup?

No — they sign into Wave with their extension credentials, from anywhere. Desk phones at home can register the same way.
