The CloudUCM SOHO plan hosts Grandstream's cloud PBX for up to 20 extensions and 8 concurrent calls, with 1 GB of cloud storage — the small-office tier of a phone system that needs no hardware at all.

CloudUCM is the UCM PBX, run by Grandstream, in the cloud. Extensions, call routing, IVR, voicemail and the Wave apps on desktop, mobile and browser — the same platform as the UCM appliances, minus the appliance. Twenty extensions with eight simultaneous calls fits a real small office comfortably, including its busy mornings.

CloudUCM or UCM RemoteConnect — which do I need?

CloudUCM is the phone system, hosted in the cloud — you need no PBX hardware. UCM RemoteConnect is the remote-access service for businesses that already own a UCM6300 appliance. No PBX and want one: CloudUCM.

Eight concurrent calls — is that enough for 20 people?

Usually, yes — an ordinary office rarely has more than a third of its people on external calls at once. A phone-heavy sales floor is the exception; size by your busy hour, and the SB upgrade or the Plus tier moves the ceiling when needed.

What happens when we outgrow it?

Move up a tier or stack an add-on — a plan change, not a migration; numbers and configuration stay.
