Grandstream GHP610 Slim Hotel Phone

The Grandstream GHP610 is a hotel room phone in white. It is built around the one thing a guest phone has to get right: ten clearly labelled speed dial keys — reception, housekeeping, room service, spa, taxi — that work first time, for someone who has never seen the phone before and is not going to read a manual.

There is no screen and no menu to get lost in. Two SIP accounts, three programmable keys, an HD speaker in the handset and 3-way conferencing cover everything a room needs, and the whole estate provisions centrally through GDMS rather than room by room.

Powered over Ethernet — one cable to the room, no adapter, nothing for a guest to unplug.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the GHP610 and the GHP611?

Colour. The GHP610 is white, the GHP611 is black. Everything else — keys, audio, network, power — is identical.

Does it need a power adapter?

No, not if the room has PoE. That is the usual way to install it: one cable, no plug for a guest to trip over. If the room has no PoE, add the matching PSU.

Can guests change the settings?

There is nothing meaningful for them to change — no menu system, no screen. The configuration lives on the phone system and is pushed from GDMS, which is exactly what you want in a bedroom.

How do I label the speed dial keys?

The phone takes a printed paper insert under a clear cover. Most properties print a sheet with their own service names, which is also the moment to get the wording right in more than one language.

How many can I install at once?

As many as the phone system supports. GDMS provisions them in bulk, so a 200-room property is a configuration job, not 200 separate ones.
