Grandstream GRP2670 Carrier Grade Touchscreen IP Phone

The Grandstream GRP2670 replaces rows of plastic buttons with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. Twelve lines and sixteen SIP accounts are presented across forty-eight virtual multi-purpose key positions, so a user swipes between banks of colleagues, queues and speed dials rather than hunting along a fixed keypad or bolting on an expansion module.

For organisations that reconfigure often — growing teams, shared desks, seasonal staff — that is a real practical gain: reassigning a key is a provisioning change, not a trip round the building with printed inserts. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, USB headset support and noise shield round out a phone designed for front-of-house and senior positions, and it still draws only 6.5W from an 802.3af PoE port.

Frequently asked questions

Is the GRP2670 an Android phone?

No. It is a SIP desk phone with a touchscreen interface, not an Android application platform. If you need Android apps and a camera, look at the GXV series video phones.

How do the 48 virtual keys work in practice?

They are arranged in pages on the touchscreen. The user swipes between banks of BLF, speed dial and line keys, and administrators can change assignments remotely through provisioning.

Does it need more than 802.3af PoE?

No. Maximum consumption is 6.5W, so a standard 802.3af PoE port is sufficient.

Can it be wall mounted?

Yes. The GRP2670 ships with a desk stand and is wall-mountable.

Does it work over Wi-Fi?

Yes. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 is integrated, so the phone only needs power if there is no convenient data point.
