Grandstream GSC3565 Smart Outdoor Video Intercom

The Grandstream GSC3565 is the video version of Grandstream's outdoor smart intercom range. It takes the same sealed, vandal-resistant panel as the audio-only GSC3560 and adds a 4-megapixel sensor streaming 1080p at 30fps, so whoever answers the call can see the caller as well as hear them.

A very wide 152-degree diagonal field of view captures the whole doorway rather than just a face-height crop, and 120 dB wide dynamic range keeps detail visible when a visitor is backlit by bright sky. Six auto-brightness white LEDs handle darkness. Entry can be granted from a SIP call, the SecureAccess app, a QR code or your own software via HTTP API, and two relay outputs — one of them an anti-magnetic solid state relay — drive the lock and any alarm linkage directly.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the GSC3565 and the GSC3560?

They share the same weatherproof housing, speaker, microphones, relays and network features. The GSC3565 adds a 1080p camera and QR code entry; the GSC3560 is audio only and instead offers AI-based noise suppression.

Where can I view the video from the door?

On a Grandstream indoor station such as the GSC3570 or GSC3575, on a Grandstream video desk phone, or on a mobile through the SecureAccess app. It is a standard SIP video endpoint, so most video-capable SIP clients will also work.

Will the camera cope with bright sunlight behind a visitor?

Yes. Wide dynamic range of up to 120 dB is specifically there to balance a dark face against a bright background, which is the usual problem on outward-facing doors.

How does QR code entry work?

You issue a code that the visitor holds up to the camera. It suits contractors, deliveries and short-term visitors because there is no fob to hand over or recover afterwards.

Can it be surface mounted on brick?

Yes — expansion bolts and screws are supplied in the box, along with a waterproof silicone plug for the cable entry and a ground wire.
