Grandstream GSC3570 HD Intercom and Facility Control Station

The Grandstream GSC3570 is the indoor half of a door entry system: a 7-inch 1024 × 600 touchscreen that answers the door station, shows who is there, and opens the door — without anyone needing to find a handset or unlock a phone.

It matters because door entry usually fails at the inside end, not the outside. A door panel that rings a mobile app works until the phone is in a bag, on silent, or held by someone who left last month. A fixed station on the wall by the reception desk is always in the same place and always answered by whoever is standing there.

It is also a facility control station, not only an intercom. It handles door release for the whole GDS37xx range — RFID card, local PIN and remote PIN over a SIP call or DTMF — and doubles as a SIP endpoint for ordinary calls and paging. Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi means it can go on a wall with no data point, and PoE means one cable where there is one.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need one, if we already answer the door on our phones?

Not strictly — but a mobile app is only as reliable as the phone it is on. A fixed station is always in the same place and always answered by whoever is there, which is why reception desks and care homes specify one.

Can it open the door?

Yes, for the whole GDS37xx range — by RFID, local PIN, or remote PIN over a SIP call or DTMF, depending on how the door station is configured.

Can it cover more than one door?

Yes. It is a facility control station as well as an intercom, so several door stations can be monitored and answered from it.

Does it need a network cable?

Not necessarily — it has integrated dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Where a cable exists, PoE over that cable is simpler and more reliable.

How is it different from the GSC3574?

Generation. Both have a 7-inch touchscreen and full-duplex HD audio; the GSC3574 adds Wi-Fi 6 and a slimmer profile. The GSC3570 is the more cost-effective of the two.

Can it be used as an ordinary phone?

Yes. It is a SIP endpoint, so it can make and take normal calls and act as a paging point alongside its door duties.
