Grandstream GSC3574 HD Intercom and Facility Control Station (White)

The Grandstream GSC3574 is the current-generation indoor intercom and facility control station in white: a 7-inch touchscreen that answers the door station, shows who is there, releases the lock, and works as a SIP phone and paging point besides.

Against the older GSC3570 it brings two changes that matter on a wall. Wi-Fi 6 instead of 802.11ac, which behaves better in a building full of other wireless devices; and a slimmer body, which is a genuine consideration for something mounted at eye level in a reception area rather than hidden in a cupboard.

Fixed stations exist because mobile apps are unreliable at the inside end. A door panel that rings a phone works until the phone is in a bag, on silent, or belongs to someone who left the company. A station on the wall is always in the same place and always answered by whoever is standing there — which is the whole point in a reception, a care home or a school office.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the GSC3570?

Wi-Fi 6 instead of 802.11ac, and a slimmer body. Both have a 7-inch touchscreen, full-duplex HD audio and PoE. The GSC3570 is the cheaper of the two if neither difference matters to you.

Can it open the door?

Yes, for the whole GDS37xx range — by RFID, local PIN, or remote PIN over a SIP call or DTMF, depending on how the door station is configured.

Can it cover more than one door?

Yes. It is a facility control station as well as an intercom, so several door stations can be monitored and answered from it.

Does it need a network cable?

Not necessarily — it has integrated dual-band Wi-Fi 6. Where a cable exists, PoE over that cable is simpler and more reliable.

Is there a black version?

Yes — the GSC3575 is the same generation in black. Choose on decor; the function is the same.

Can it be used as an ordinary phone?

Yes. It is a SIP endpoint, so it can make and take normal calls and act as a paging point alongside its door duties.
