Grandstream
GWN7672LGrandstream GWN7672L Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point
The Grandstream GWN7672L is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point rated BE11000: up to 11 Gbps of aggregate wireless throughput across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, up to 384 concurrent clients on 2×2:2 MU-MIMO with enhanced DL/UL OFDMA, and coverage up to 175 metres.
It is the single-port version of the GWN7672. Same radio package — same three bands, same client count, same Wi-Fi 7 feature set with Multi-Link Operation and 4K QAM — but one 5-Gigabit PoE+ port instead of two. Most ceilings only ever get one cable, which is exactly the deployment this model is priced for; the dual-port GWN7672 earns its premium where link redundancy or pass-through is actually wired.
The third band is the reason to buy Wi-Fi 7 at all. 6 GHz is wide and almost empty — no legacy devices, no neighbouring networks squatting on the channels. But it does not travel as far, so a tri-band deployment usually needs access points closer together than a dual-band one. Budget for the extra units, not just the extra band.
Ideal for
- Offices refreshing Wi-Fi for the next several years of devices
- Ceilings with one cable run — which is most of them
- Meeting rooms and classrooms with heavy simultaneous use
- Sites where 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are congested by neighbours
- Hospitality and education deployments at scale
Key features
- Tri-band Wi-Fi 7, BE11000 — 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and the clean 6 GHz band
- Up to 11 Gbps aggregate wireless — all three radios combined
- Up to 384 concurrent clients — 2×2:2 MU-MIMO, enhanced DL/UL OFDMA
- Wi-Fi 7 feature set — Multi-Link Operation, 4K QAM, Multi-RU, preamble puncturing
- 1 × 5-Gigabit Ethernet with 802.3at PoE+ — maximum 22 W draw
- Coverage up to 175 m — open-air figure; walls take their share

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from the GWN7672?
One network port instead of two — that is the whole difference. Radio, bands, client capacity and management are the same. If the ceiling has one cable and no plan for a second, the L is the sensible buy.
Do my devices need to support Wi-Fi 7?
No — it serves older clients on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz as usual. But only Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 clients can use the 6 GHz band, so the full benefit grows as devices are replaced.
What does it need from the switch?
802.3at PoE+ — it can draw up to 22 W, more than a standard 802.3af port supplies. To see the full wireless throughput, feed it from a multi-gigabit port; on a Gigabit port it works, capped at the wire.
Is the 175 m coverage realistic indoors?
That is an open-air figure. Walls, floors and the 6 GHz band's shorter reach all take their share — plan with a survey, not the headline number.
Is there a licence fee for management?
No. Manage it from its own interface, GWN.Cloud or on-premise GWN Manager — all free.
