Grandstream GXV3674 HD IP Camera

The Grandstream GXV3674 is a weatherproof infrared IP camera with a manually adjustable vari-focal lens: from 2.8 mm at a wide 115° for close coverage, out to 12 mm at 30° for reaching down a drive or across a yard. IP66 housing, integrated PoE, IR LEDs with an IR-cut filter for day/night work, and ONVIF compliance for third-party recorders.

The vari-focal lens is the reason to pick this over a fixed camera. A fixed lens commits you to one framing at purchase; this one is framed at the top of the ladder, on site, looking at the actual scene. Wide for a doorway three metres away, narrow for a gate thirty metres away — the same camera does either, set once during installation.

It streams H.264 with multi-rate support, so the recorder can take a full-resolution stream while a monitoring screen takes a lighter one.

What does vari-focal actually mean?

The focal length is adjustable by hand at the camera, between 2.8 mm (wide) and 12 mm (narrow). You frame the shot during installation to fit the real scene, instead of committing to one angle when ordering. It is not a motorised zoom — it is set and left.

Which resolution is this model?

The GXV3674 family was sold in HD (720p) and FHD (1080p, 3.1 MP) versions. Check the suffix on the unit you are matching or ask us to confirm which variant this stock is before you order for an existing estate.

How far does the infrared reach?

Far enough for doorways, yards and drives at the ranges its lens covers. IR range depends on the scene — dark absorbent surfaces soak it up — so treat any quoted figure as open-ground performance.

Will it work with my non-Grandstream NVR?

How is it powered?
