Grandstream GRP2610 2-line Carrier-Grade IP Phone

The Grandstream GRP2610 is the entry point of the professional GRP261x range: two line keys and two SIP accounts, in a phone built to be deployed by the hundred and then forgotten about.

The GRP261x range is a step up from the essential GRP260x models in build and management, and it shares the same provisioning: zero-touch deployment through GDMS, secure boot, encrypted configuration. Buying a hundred is a configuration job rather than a hundred separate ones.

This is the non-PoE model — it uses its mains adapter. If your switches supply PoE, the GRP2610P is the tidier install for much the same money.

Frequently asked questions

GRP2610 or GRP2610P?

Power, nothing else. The P takes power from a PoE switch port; this one uses a mains adapter. If your switches supply PoE, the P is the tidier install and usually the same money — so this model is really for sites without PoE.

How many lines do I need?

Two covers most desks — a personal DDI and a hunt group or shared number. Go to the GRP2611G or GRP2612G when someone genuinely handles more numbers at once.

Can I watch colleagues' lines from it?

Not meaningfully — two line keys is not enough for busy lamp field work. A receptionist or dispatcher wants a GRP2615 or an extension module.

Does it work with hosted providers?

Yes. It is a standards-based SIP phone, widely deployed against hosted platforms as well as Grandstream's own UCM range.

Can I roll out a lot of these at once?

Yes — GDMS zero-touch provisioning is the reason the GRP range exists. Phones come up configured when they are plugged in.
